Thanks for reviewing the Risk Management Training Text Storyboard with me today. Just from the brief look I got during our meeting of the content you're developing I feel confident that we are on track to launch a successful training. You put my mind completely at ease. You are the best!

You did a wonderful job of communicating the process and need of purging the LMS of inactive users! Thank you taking on this responsibility.

Thank you for all the IT help. I'm sure you thought when you left my team you would be free of me, but can't get rid of me that easily.

Short Story About Me

What is your creative process?

I approach learning design like solving a puzzle—systematically but creatively. First, we explore together, What are your learners struggling with? What systems aren't working? Then I design solutions that address both engagement and efficiency challenges. During development, I keep you in the loop as prototypes come to life and get refined. Implementation means testing, adjusting, and ensuring everything works seamlessly for your team and learners. This collaborative process ensures you get learning experiences that people actually want to engage with.

How do you handle custom design requests?

Every learning challenge is unique, so I start with a deep-dive conversation about your specific learners, their struggles, and what success looks like for your organization. We'll explore your current systems, content, and any constraints you're working within. From there, I create tailored solutions using ADDIE methodology combined with Design Thinking principles. Throughout the process, I keep you involved with prototypes, feedback sessions, and iterative improvements to ensure the final learning experience truly serves your learners and meets your goals.

How do you stay inspired and current with design trends?

The learning and development field evolves rapidly, so I'm committed to continuous learning myself. I regularly attend L&D conferences, participate in instructional design communities, and follow research in educational technology and cognitive science. I also stay connected with fellow learning professionals through networking and professional organizations. Most importantly, I learn from each project—what engages learners and what doesn't—to constantly refine my approach.

What is your typical turnaround time for a project?

Project timelines depend on scope and complexity. A simple course redesign or system optimization might take 2-3 weeks, while comprehensive learning program development with multiple modules can span 2-3 months. I always provide a detailed project timeline during our initial consultation and build in checkpoints for feedback and revisions. I believe in realistic timelines that allow for thoughtful design and proper testing—because good learning experiences can't be rushed.

What types of projects do you specialize in?

I design engaging learning experiences for corporate L&D teams and higher education institutions. This includes online course development, training program redesigns, learning system optimization, and blended learning solutions. I also help streamline business systems to support better learning workflows. Whether you're dealing with mandatory compliance training that puts people to sleep or complex technical content that overwhelms learners, I create solutions that make learning stick and systems that actually work.
